I have been trying REALLY hard to incorporate more greens into my daily life; baby spinach has become my new best friend.
My current fav. shake recipe:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
ICE - (ice makes it !!! needs to be cold and the ice gives it a great consistency)
1 handful baby spinach
1 scoop protein powder of choice ( vanilla or chocolate.. i am currently on the snickerdoodle ;) you can skip the powder if its not something you are into.)
Cinnamon- few shakes
1 Tbsp. almond butter
Blend and enjoy !!! (I blend on "smoothie" mode first, then switch it to "frozen drink"...giving you the full detes.) OHHH.. and I always drink my smoothie from a wine glass !!!!!....PERFECTION !!!
